ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY under SAEINDIA Collegiate Club which is founded on Oct 2nd 2015 to participate in national and international automotive expo like Go-Kart which is organized by ISIE and signal seater ATV organized by BAJA Student India.

Vivekananda
College of Engineering & Technology (VCET), Puttur, one of the
reputed engineering colleges in the coastal region of Karnataka, was
established in the year 2001 by Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha Puttur
(R) with the vision of providing quality technical education to the
rural parts of coastal Karnataka. Today the Institute has been
identified as a centre for excellence in imparting engineering education
to aspiring students from all over the country and is bringing out best

About SAEINDIA Collegiate Club
The purpose is to provide its members
opportunities to gain broader insight into the engineering profession by
sponsoring meetings which will bring practicing engineers to the
campus, arranging field trips to research and engineering
establishments, sponsoring student projects of engineering interest, and
participating in local SAE Section activities. It shall also be the
purpose of this organization to encourage good fellowship among
engineering students and their teachers.

BAJA Student India is a college level engineering design competition.
Participating teams comprise of undergraduate & post graduate engineering students and as a team they are tasked to design, build, test, race & promote a single seater 4 wheeler offroad vehicle.
This event is meant 'FOR THE STUDENTS' and main focus is on the educational aspect of the competition.
